Kim Adams
Kim Adams is an Oregon painter whose work is shaped by the land, water, light, and weather of her native state. A graduate of the University of Oregon, she came to full-time painting after raising a family and studying nursing in Eugene.
Over the years, Kim has continued her study of drawing and painting at the University of Oregon, where Professor Laura Vandenburgh played an important role in her development as an artist. Her oil paintings often move between abstract landscapes, seascapes, and fully abstract compositions, always grounded in a deep sense of place.
“When I paint,” Kim says, “I feel like I am truly home.”
